Spectacular Extremely Rare Crystallized Gold on Quartz Nugget - 4.27 Troy Ounces

Natural gold nuggets that are large, over one troy ounce, are considered extremely rare and a one troy ounce gold nugget is rarer than a five-karat diamond. Surrounding the white quartz is well crystallized gold in multidimensional layers that stand out as one of the most interesting specimens I've had the pleasure to lay eyes upon. One could study this for hours and still not see all the characteristics of this special California find. I'm amazed that this nugget, which has been in the same family for generations, has remained in such pristine condition. This particular specimen is extremely fragile and must be handled with care. Total weight is 387.18 grams, and a specific gravity test has shown 132.99 grams of gold.
