Crystalline Gold

Crystalline gold is considered very rare and is the gold found very close to the source, usually in hard rock gold mines. The gold has a crusty and intricate texture and has not been moved or river worn by the natural elements. Because most hard rock gold mines have closed, crystalline gold is considered very rare and accounts for less than one percent of all the gold ever mined.
