Outstanding Branching Wire Crystallized Gold Specimen - Eagles Nest Mine, CA

Without equation, one of the most famous gold mines in California was the Eagles Nest Gold Mine in Placer County. This piece is a great example of the high caliber gold that was found at this location - most notably, the fantastic luster and sharp faceted crystallization of the gold that has an almost mirror like surface. This extraordinary specimen is exceptionally rare with hoppered and leaf formations. This is one of my most memorable pieces and will make an unmatched addition to any collection.
