The gold crystals from Zapata, just outside of Ikabaru, near Santa Elena de Uairen in Venezuela are very unique and unlike any other crystalized gold in the world. They are generally chunky with sharp and faceted structures and have a very pure buttery yellow color. The purity is around 97% pure gold. Due to the recent turmoil and economic collapse of Venezuela, these golds have been harder and harder to source.
