Beautiful Rare Elongated Sponge Gold Nugget - Ten Mile

The Ten Mile Gold Claims near Winnemucca, Nevada produced some interesting gold and some of it is fine crystals that are tightly packed together and resemble a "sponge". The gold is sometimes referred to as "sponge gold" and is considered quite rare.
