Lustrous Natural Crystallized Gold Nugget - Eagles Nest Mine, CA

Without equation, one of the most famous gold mines in California is the Eagles Nest Gold Mine in Placer County. This piece is a great example of the high caliber gold that was found at this location - most notably, the fantastic luster and detailed crystallization of the gold. This particular specimen could be studied under magnification for hours continuing to reveal spectacular details. I have cherished this one from the first time I held it and know it will be a beloved addition to any collection.
