Brilliant Crystalline "Sponge" Gold Specimen with Quartz - Mariposa, CA

A beautiful and somewhat rare example of crystalline gold from the famous Mariposa County Mining District in Northern California. There is a few small inclusions of white quartz peppered throughout the gold making this one a very aesthetic "specimen" quality gold nugget.
