A terrific piece that I have held onto for years as it comes from a very famous Gold Mine in California and has been a piece I use to help people understand how gold forms in quartz veins underground. This piece has been in several videos on our YouTube channel and is a one of kind that I'm a little torn on selling. The brilliant white quarts that is defined from the host shale rock is something that is not often preserved on these pieces and the gold is a brilliant and buttery yellow that protrudes off the quartz.
