I had to put this piece on the scale several times as it looks so much larger than the weight. It's a beautiful piece of gold from a well known South American gold mining region. I hand selected this one and liked how intricate and lacy it looked. Alta Floresta district, Juruena-Teles Pires mineral province, Mato Grosso, Brazil is a gold mining area in the central part of the country. Not all of the gold that comes from this location is crystalized. I hand selected this piece from the miners. The gold from this location is exceptionally pure and estimated at 98% pure gold.
Weight: 3.22 grams (50.0 grains)
Dimensions: 5/8" or 17mm.
