The Belshazzar Gold Mine in Boise County, Idaho is one of the more interesting gold mines in Idaho. The mine has been closed for many years but there are still prospectors who detect the tailing piles in and around the mine area and uncover some very unique gold specimens. The mine is known for producing intricate wire gold specimens. The pieces I currently have are very good examples of the thick wire clusters that were found at this unique location.
