Very Pure Gold Nugget from the Eugene Mountains, Nevada

A unique formation that reminds me of a starfish with a light textured surface. A very pure gold nugget from the Eugene Mountains in central Nevada. The color is a brilliant deep yellow gold and has a very high purity. Nevada gold nuggets are actually quite rare and Nevada is well known for ore mines with pockets of specimen gold. I was able to acquire a handful of these very pure gold nuggets from a prospector who metal detects in the area.
