Olinghouse Mine Gold in Quartz Specimen

A fantastic gold in quartz specimen from the Olinghouse Mine in Nevada. The mine is famous for its fine wire gold specimens but this specimen is a little more special and leaf gold and gold crystal from this location are much more rare. This specimen has some wires, but also some brilliant trigon crystals as well as leaf gold. It is quite an intricate specimen and has gold showing on all sides. The bottom of the specimen has a small inclusion of grey matrix.
