In 2015 there was a significant gold find at the Serra do Caldeirão claims, Pontes e Lacerda, Alto Guaporé District, Mato Grosso, Brazil. Not all of the gold that was discovered was well crystallized and I have spent a great deal of time collecting the best from the find. I have held these for some time in my private collection but have now listed these for sale on the website. The Pontes claims are now shut off and it is uncertain if there will be more from this location. These are as good as it gets from South America and are brilliant gold specimens.
