One of my best gold crystal specimens from Serra do Caldeirão claims, Pontes e Lacerda, Alto Guaporé District, Mato Grosso, Brazil. A beautiful hoppered gold crystal specimens from with a deep and very pure gold color and the gold purity is 99% with 0.5% Rhodium. The crystallization is very faceted with brilliant crystal structure and intricate vertical form on both sides. This is one from a handful of gold nuggets I recently acquired from a family in Brazil who was associated with the mining claim. The location is now shut off by the Brazilian government and it is uncertain if there will be any more from this location.
