Recently I acquired some remarkable gold from Alaska from the Silverado Gold Mine outside of Fairbanks. The Gold has unique characteristics and was formed in permafrost, creating some interesting forms and shapes with highly smooth surfaces combined with wavy crevasses. The gold has an unusually higher purity for Alaska at around 90% and it certainly shows with the beautiful bright yellow color. This is some of the more unique gold I have seen from Alaska.
