This one is cool! Very sharp and defined cluster of hoppered octahedron gold crystals on the upper half that tapers into flattened smaller crystals and then tapers again to a leaf gold on the bottom of the specimen. Certainly a rare piece especially considering its location. We almost never see gold crystal like this from the Yukon/Alaska region. This is one from a small handful we recently sourced from an out of the way small mine in the Tintina Gold Belt of the Yukon.
Weight: 3.22 grams (49.64 grains)
Dimensions: 11/16" by 3/8" or 17mm by 10mm.
