Some of the finest gold crystals in the world came from Round Mountain. This example has a long body that tapers to a triangular point. The lower half of the specimen is clustered with small octahedron gold crystals that transform into a longer wire gold formation at the top of the specimen. A unique growth pattern and only something you would see from this famous location.
