From the new find at the Colorado Quartz Mine in Mariposa County, California. After nearly two decades of being closed, the mine reopened in 2017 in hunt of more crystalized gold. Since the reopen, the mine has had some success in locating new gold but is still searching for the "million dollar pocket". This specimen was found at the 140 foot level in 2018 and is a brilliant crystalized gold specimen with some intricate detail and a long 'neck" with several trigon crystals at the tip.
