A long and faceted very sharp copper crystal from the Dzhezkazgan Mining District, Karaganda Region, Kazakhstan. These copper specimens were found in sandstone which helps explain the very unique crystallization patterns on the surface. I don't often collect copper but thought these were too fantastic to pass up when I saw them. I looked at probably 50 different specimens and picked out a selection of the very best from the mine.
