What a cool piece of gold - very intricate with sharp rectangular gold crystals in a branching formation. It reminds me of something you might see in Superman's cave. This is a piece from the famous Round Mountain gold mine. A location well known for fascinating gold specimens but sadly, the mine has stopped preserving it's special gold specimens and decided it is too expensive to staff the mine with geologists and expert excavators to handle the special gold. They now crush and melt all the gold they find. What remains on the open market is all that is left. I have a large assortment collected over a long period of time. When these are gone, they will be gone forever.
Weight: 0.57 grams (8.80 grains)
Dimensions: 1/2" or 12mm
