Quite possible the finest gold specimen I've seen from Round Mountain. An absolutely stunning gold crystal specimen with a uniqueness and caliber that is unmatched. This is one of those rare coveted pieces that I contemplated not offering for sale as admittedly I am a collector as well as a dealer and fall in love with the gold. Please take a minute to browse the photos below and I think you'll agree this is as good as it gets with crystalized gold. The Round Mountain gold mine is still an operating mine but was fully purchased in 2016 be the Kinross Gold Corp. The mine has decided that it is too costly to continue preserving their specimen gold as it took a team of geologists and expert excavators to recover the specimens from the pockets deep inside the mine. Sadly, the rare and precious pockets are now ignored and all the gold is now blasted, crushed, and melted into bullion.
Weight: 6.48 grams (99.96 grains)
Dimensions: 1-3/4" or 43mm
