Truly amazing! A museum grade gold specimen that is appreciated especially by those who understand gold crystals and their rarity. We've nicknamed him "the dinosaur". Incredibly intricate well formed trigon and octahedron crystals complete one side while the other side has very long bands of hoppered gold interlaced with multiple series of gold crystals. Fascinating and truly a one of a kind. This stunning gold specimen defies words and is without a doubt, one of the finest specimens I've ever seen from Round Mountain or from anywhere else for that matter. It's hard to believe such an intricate and beautiful piece of gold formed like this. It's even harder to believe that most of the gold from Round Mountain is melted down for bullion - a crime against the earths rare natural treasures.
