A very rare gold specimen from Alaska. If you're familiar with Alaskan gold nuggets, you know its chunky or flat, smooth or crusty, but it is rarely crystalized. This is one that was picked out from hundred that I saw from a mine. Take a good look at the photos...practically the entire surface is hoppered with intricate lines that are vertical and horizontal on one side, and the other side has slanted "chevron hoppering" that angles or slants in two directions. An amazing piece of gold from any location, but especially rare being from Alaska.
