Fantastic structure of gold wires that layer together in a very intricate puzzle structure from the Alta Floresta, Mato Grosso municipality, Brazil. Alta Floresta (Portuguese for "High Forest") is a dense rainforest area of Brazil and this gold specimen came from a mine high in the hills of the region. The gold from Brazil is very pure and is estimated at 92-98%.
