A brilliant sharp crystal formation over the entire surface of this gold specimen from Mt. Kare, Papua New Guinea. The color is a deep gold and its an impressive piece. Mt. Kare gold is very rare these days and what wasn't melted down into bullion was quickly snatched up by collectors. I am grateful I finally found a small handful from a collector who is native to the region.
Weight: 1.10 grams (16.94 grains)
Dimensions: 9/16" or 15mm
