Elongated and Intricate- Natural Gold Crystal from Mt. Kare, PNG

A fabulous oddity from Mt. Kare, Papua New Guinea. A long crystal formation with some very interesting shapes...a natural gold specimen that "screams" Mt. Kare and could only be from that location. The gold from Mt. Kare is considered very rare now as most of the estimated one million ounces was melted down into bullion and what remains of the crystallized gold is held closely by collectors.
