Nice and long with a crusty crystalized formation. A brilliant gold color and intricate detail. This natural gold specimen is one from a small batch I recently acquired from a collector who is native to the Papua New Guinea region. The gold from Mt. Kare is considered very rare and there isn't much on the market these days. The gold rush on the mountain only lasted six years and most of that gold was melted down into bullion. The finer specimens have been hoarded by collectors.
Weight: 0.81 grams (12.48 grains)
