Lots of character and a consistent warm gold color on this gold crystal specimen from Mt. Kare. The gold that came from the brief gold rush at Mt. Kare is some of the most fascinating in the world and is now very rare as most of the estimated million ounces was melted down into bullion. the finer crystals are held closely by collectors and I hardly ever see this gold on the market. I feel fortunate after much travel and searching, to find a small handful from a collector who is native to the Papua New Guinea region.
Weight: 0.73 grams (11.32 grains)
Dimensions: 1/2" or 12mm
