A brilliant shine and faceted crystal formation on this rare gold crystal from Papua New Guinea. the gold from Mt. Kare is some of the most fascinating in the wolrd and is now very rare as the majority of the gold that was found there has been melted down. The finer gold crystals are in the hands of collectors and there isn't much on the open market these days. I am fortunate I was able to source a small batch from a source local to the region.
