This one is cool. The formation is curved with the front being a crusty surface of naturalized crystalized gold and the back of the specimen is a flat curved wire formation. The entire piece reminds me of a wave with the front being the break of the wave with lots of disruption and white wash and the back side very smooth, like the backside of a wave. This natural gold specimen is one from a handful I recently acquired from the Fire Creek Mine in Lander County, Nevada.
Weight: 0.45 grams (6.98 grains)
Dimensions: 7/16" or 11mm.
