A crusty and elongated gold nugget with a thick base that tapers to a point. I recently acquired this gold nugget along with a small handful from an "old timer" prospector who detected in the Denali National Park of the Alaska Interior. Mining has been banned in most of Denali National Park and this gold nugget was found in the early 1980's in the Caribou Creek area of the park before prospecting was banned.
Weight: 1.29 grams (19.92 grains)
