Very Rare - A Rose - Wire and Crystal Gold Specimen

There isn't anything quite like this one. A fantastic piece of natural gold from the famous Round Mountain gold mine in Nye County, Nevada. A long wire specimen with a cluster of rounded gold crystals mixed with quartz matrix and a bit of reddish colored mineral. Looks kind of like a long stemmed rose. Fantastic and rare and unlike anything else on the website. The Round Mountain Gold mine is world renowned for it's unique gold crystals. Sadly, the mine was purchased in 2016 by Kinross Gold Corp and they elected to stop preserving the specimen gold and now melt all the gold into bullion, citing cost as the main factor as it took teams of geologists and expert excavators to carefully extract these rare specimens from the gold pockets deep inside the mine. Now they simply blast and bucket all the rock and gold together.
