Santa Rosa Mine, Canta City, Lima, Peru - Gold Crystal Quartz

Beautiful gold crystals wrapping white quartz from the Santa Rosa Mine in Peru. I don't see too much in the way of gold in quartz from Peru. This gold in quartz specimen is from a rare location and there weren't a lot of large pockets of gold found in this particular mine, mostly smaller scattered specimens and pieces. This mine did not produce much gold and far fewer crystal gold specimens - this one is certainly rare.
