Long and Exceptional - Rare Salt Lake Natural Gold Nugget

The gold nuggets that I source from a single prospector who has claims in a dry salt lake bed near Kalgoorlie, WA are simply some of the best natural gold nuggets I've ever seen from Australia. The color is an exceptionally buttery yellow gold, and these nuggets have tremendous character. The fact that this is one of the larger examples (4.25 troy ounces) makes it a true prize in any prestigious collection. Natural gold nuggets that are large, over one troy ounce, are considered extremely rare and a one troy ounce gold nugget is more rare than a five-karat diamond. I sourced this gold nugget from the prospectors in Australia who for the most part, spend their entire working lives metal detecting and prospecting to find these rare pieces of gold.
