A large and heavy rare crystalline gold nugget specimen from Pima County, Arizona. But the prospector, who found it just over a year ago, has decided to part ways with this exceptionally large and extremely rare gold specimen from Pima County Arizona. The video below is worth watching to see the etching process and how this one was etched from the quartz. Please note, there is a slight weight discrepancy as the specimen had not completely dried from the etching and rinsing process when it was weighed for the video. The weight has changed slightly after a thorough drying out period (several weeks) and the true weight of the specimen is 16.89 troy ounces.
