Exceptionally Rare - Large Platinum Nugget from Russia

Platinum is an extremely rare metal found in the earth's crust and the majority of platinum is microscopic and found in ore. A natural platinum nugget is considered much more rare than a gold nugget and a sizable platinum nugget is on the scale of very exceptional and only found in a few locations on earth. I was able to obtain a very small collection of these from a source in Czechoslovakia. I'm told that these platinum nuggets spent the better part of a year held in Russian customs as they were attempting to be exported. This platinum nugget was mined in the Khabarovsk Region of Eastern Russia.
