A very intricate natural gold nugget with a smooth river worn surface and loads of detail with a triangular shape and cavernous form. This piece was found near Truckee, California in the Sierra Nevada Mountains.
As a gold dealer and someone who gets to see a lot of gold nuggets. It is rare to see a collection such as this one with large gold nuggets from so many unique locations in North America. The collection comes from a single prospector who is a retired police officer and for the last 30 years, he spent six weeks every summer prospecting for gold.
